Do you charge for diagnostics? keyboard_arrow_down

My Broken Phone offers 1 hour of free diagnostics on every in-store repair. After the hour, if we are unable to diagnose the issue with your device you have the option of allowing us to take a deeper look for a flat-rate, prepaid fee. In the event that we are able to successfully diagnose and repair your device, any diagnostics fees paid will be credited towards the repair.

We are skilled and experienced in repairing just about any type of smartphone, tablet, or mobile gadget. We work on devices made by Apple, Samsung, LG, HTC, Motorola, Google, ZTE, Sony, Asus, Huawei, OnePlus, Nokia, Blackberry, Microsoft, and more.

Absolutely! If it has a circuit board or a power button, we can fix it! Our website contains just a few of the devices that we are able to repair. To receive a quote for a device that you can't find on our website, just give us a call!

Most repairs are completed same day, while you wait. We will diagnose any issues or complaints regarding your device and offer a quote to have them repaired. If you're happy with the provided quote, we will get to work immediately! Need a repair? Simply stop by one of our convenient locations — no appointments necessary!

Yes! We stand behind our work. All repairs come with a functionality warranty for either 90 days or, in some cases, for the lifetime of the device. The repair warranty covers any type of issue that may be a result of defective parts or labor. Click here for a full description of our warranties.

Repair costs vary widely based on the type of device and the services required. You can find our prices listed online here or by contacting your nearest store directly.

Many repairs take as little as 15 minutes to complete. In some situations, such as liquid damage or data recovery, repairs may take several hours or days. Upon initial receipt of your device, our technicians will provide you with the estimated amount of time needed to service your device.

With the exception of paid diagnostics, we do not charge for any services where we are unable to fix your device.

Do you use new or used parts? keyboard_arrow_down

Unless specified otherwise, all of our parts are brand new and never used. Occasionally, we may be able to offer you a less expensive repair or faster turnaround time by installing a readily available used part. If this option is available, we make it your choice as the customer to elect the installation of either new or used parts. Used parts are still covered under our repair warranties.

Can I mail you my device? keyboard_arrow_down

Yes! We’ve had devices sent to us from all over the world. If you’d like to mail us your device, simply package and ship it to any of our locations. Be sure to include a slip of paper with your name and a contact phone number or email address and we will contact you as soon as we receive the package. We’ll even cover return shipping on any successful repairs!

Yes! All of our technicians are trained in the diagnosis of common motherboard problems. Most motherboard repairs will be completed by our highly skilled and certified board-level technicians at our in-house solder depot. We provide repairs for both common motherboard issues such as the iPhone’s “Touch Disease” as well as less common or unknown issues. Our board-level technicians are some of the best in the industry; there’s very little that they cannot fix.

Unlocking is the process of removing the carrier restriction from your device to make it usable with other carriers. As an example, one may have an AT&T phone unlocked to use it on Metro PCS.

Do I need my phone unlocked? keyboard_arrow_down

If you’re planning on switching service providers or traveling internationally, unlocking is a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a new phone.

Unlock prices can vary not just based on the type of device and carrier but also on the date. Therefore, a quote to unlock a device today may not be valid next week. We suggest checking on unlock prices as you need them!

Unlocking lengths can vary. Most unlocks are completed same day, within a few hours.

To provide you with the lowest prices possible, all of our devices are previously used (except in special circumstances). Our devices are purchased directly from our customers and meticulously tested to ensure everything is 100% operational. Unlike buying through Facebook Market or Craigslist, you can rest easy purchasing a device from us with our provided warranty.

We sell smartphones, tablets, smart watches, and occasionally other related electronics. Since our inventory is purchased directly from our customers our stock levels can vary significantly from day to day.

Do you allow returns on devices? keyboard_arrow_down

All of our devices come with a 14 day satisfaction guarantee. If, within this time period, you are not satisfied with a device purchased for any reason that falls outside of the applicable warranty, you may return the device for a refund in the form of store credit. All devices we sell come with a charger and may include the original box and documentation if available. Other accessories such as additional charge cables, cases, and screen protectors do not come with your device purchase but may be eligible for bundle discounts.

Yes! Selling us a broken device can be a cost effective way of upgrading to a new device or a quick and easy way to receive some cash. We pay some some of the highest prices in the market for damaged used devices.

Due to the severity and complications involved with water damaged devices, we cannot confidently guarantee the functionality of the device and therefore are unable to purchase them.

Yes! We are always happy to provide simple data transfer services from your old device when selling to us.

Yes! If we are unable to purchase your device, you can leave it with us to responsibly reuse and recycle the parts and components within the device.
